Why the control of a narrative is so important for Governments

In a move to control the Russian-Ukraine conflict narrative and take away Russia’s ability to give its own perspective on events, The European Commission has sent Google written a request to remove all Russian state media results for searches performed in countries within the EU. [washingtonpost.com

Opinions matter and they can be changed with proper help from the Government & Media

Past accounts were the Government has used Media to push an agenda.

let’s look at how the media was used during WW2 by the Natzi war criminal Hermann Wilhelm Göring. Hermann Wilhelm Göring was a German politician, military leader, and convicted war criminal. He was one of the most influential figures in the Nazi Party, according to Wikipedia

“Why, of course, the people don’t want war,” Goering shrugged. “Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don’t want war, neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.” – Hermann Wilhelm Göring

“The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” – Hermann Wilhelm Göring

America today

Douglas Macgregor Explains how in America’, The lack of interest makes it easier for the elite to make decisions they might otherwise disagree with if they were actually paying attention.

If you haven’t been tracking geopolitics and are turning on your t.v after you hear about a current conflict, it’s probably going to be much harder for you to find out the whole truth.

By the time the average person starts paying attention, the western media has already set a narrative for them. They will most likely never question it, especially if they are not up to date on current issues and get information from multiple viewpoints.

For Example, many U.S politicians claim the Russian-Ukraine conflict is about Democracy, when in fact, it’s about the Donbas region & the Nato expansion, as is explained here.

This is why Western countries are trying to remove different viewpoints that might question the official narrative.
