Silvano Aureoles Conejo Is Looking For U.S Backing in order to Stop AMLO

Silvano Aureoles Conejo (born August 23, 1965 in Carácuaro, Michoacán) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and the current governor of Michoacán.

Silvano Aureoles time touring the U.S was spent trying to get backing from U.S Department of State in his quest to push back against (AMLO) the Mexican President’s anti-corruption goals.

Silvano Aureoles visited the Organization of American States ( OAS ) and the United States Congress.

The Governor of Michoacán, Silvano Aureoles Conejo, also announced that he will continue tour into the European continent.

It’s important to note AMLO called for Latin American countries to create a new Organisation not associated or subjugated to the OAS, A new organization that would represent countries’ own sovereign interests and not be subject to American interference. OAS is considered a tool for pushing American foreign policy in the region and has had a history of interfering with sovereign countries.

So it’s not surprising Silvano Aureoles Conejo would look for backing from crony foreign organizations that have their own policy agendas for Mexico. At this point with countless accusations against him for corruption he’s most probably looking for a second home in case, he has to flee.

Silvano Aureoles Conejo Couldent get a meeting with Mexican President.

Michoacán Governor Aureoles waited to meet with the president. He waited in vain.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador Supposedly didn’t meet with Michoacán Governor Aureoles because the Governor could be subject to criminal investigation and or he didn’t want to be associated with someone corrupt.
