Mexico President Andrés Manuel López Obrador Talks IMF and Economy

Andrés Manuel López Obrador, during one of this week’s morning press meetings, spoke about The IMF and “Banco de México” interest rate hike to keep Mexico’s inflation in check.

Mexico’s control of certain parts of the energy sector (electric & crude) has helped it deal with growing inflation. Setting Market caps in order to stop price gauging and adding competition to markets controlled by monopolies. The President also noted the U.S would eventually have to deal with its own Inflation problems after the Fed’s massive liquidity ejection into the economy.

During The second-quarter growth for MEXICO, its economy was up 19.6%. making it one of the top rebounding economies around the world, after its own coronavirus lockdowns.
