AMLO invites Biden to Mexico

This meeting follows up on President López Obrador's dialogue with President Biden and Vice President Harris on issues related to bilateral and regional agenda.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador stated during his daily morning press meeting (La Mañanera) that he invited his counterpart from the United States, Joe Biden, to Mexico. The date of a meeting between the two heads of state could be at the end of September, the exact date has yet to be formalized with Washington.

“There is that possibility, we formulated an invitation for him to visit Mexico, by the end of September,” said López Obrador.
